| TLL started in 1998, enjoyed growth, and has become a significant resource
to major global organizations who seek to improve their existing management
of technology, or must turnaround an underperforming technology project.
Over the past 8 years, TLL has further evolved and developed a reputation
for "extreme project management." We have had the good fortune to exercise
our project management -- and more recently our technical IT skills -- to turnaround failed or failing technology
projects, and function as the "bottom-line" manager to implement
high-profile, company-critical applications.
TLL uses a unique "one-to-many" virtual operating model. Greg Scala, TLLís Principal,
works with an extensive network of smaller (and as needed) larger consultancies to
meet client requirements.
Since the 90s we have executed engagements primarily for Fortune 500 companies in the following industries:
- Financial Services
- Life Sciences
- Consumer Products
Our model executes much better than many of our competitors' traditional
employee - based consulting organizations for several reasons:
- We are a highly congenial group and have at least 10 and in
some instances 20 years of experience working together: this translates
into a better client "chemistry."
- We respect one another's skills. We all have at least 10 years
of experience, most of us have more than 15. This respect allows us
to reach consensus and respond to client requirements very rapidly.
- We never "stumble" with unproven resources. With the exception
of entry-level programmers or test technicians (neither of which should
ever prove critical to an engagement), we never do business with a firm
or individual that is not a direct network contact or a trusted referral.
